What is the error?
It’s been almost two months since Cyberpunk 2077 came out, and I have to say it’s by far one of the hardest games I’ve ever seen in my life. I really don’t want to go back there. Because I’m sure the whole world knows what’s going on.
There are already many bugs in the game, and there are more and more every day. But I’m talking more specifically about the Takemura bug in the Down the Street mission. In the mission Down the Street there is a part where you will be challenged by Takemura. But the mission is buggy for many players in this game. As a result, Takemura is blocked for many players on the left side of the screen. There’s no way to disconnect. And since you are in the vocation and the mission is active, there is no question of doing other missions and activities.

After completing the Down on the Street mission, I’m stuck in a conversation cycle with Takemura, where I’m asked two options as one of the first conversations I can have with him. It seems it happened after we got off the van with him to meet Okada on Jig Jig Street. Calling him back to try to silence him doesn’t seem to work because he doesn’t respond and the opportunities for dialogue never disappear. Save and load from the main menu doesn’t seem to work either. Does anyone know the reason for this phenomenon or a possible solution?

When I download my backup, I immediately get a call from Takemura, and he doesn’t talk. I can’t use my phone for any other purpose. It stays on my screen and says nothing. And research. You can see what he’s saying. Any ideas on how to get around that mistake. Fighting doesn’t help… I don’t think I destroyed a bunch of Tiger Claws and the call didn’t go through. I could try to run away with the NCPD.
This prevents the players from progressing in the game. This bug seems to have appeared after the latest patch 1.1. It’s actually funny, because even before the release of this patch, there was a Takemura bug in the game that was very similar to this one. The only difference is that Takemura didn’t even report the other error. Patch 1.1 should have fixed this bug. But it seems that instead of correcting the mistake, she made another one.
Is there a problem?
No, there is no fix for that error yet. But if you thought you were the only one in the group, you’re not here. There is an excellent article about this bug on the CDPR forums. And you’ll find hundreds of people with the same number of comments. Look at this.
Yeah, there’s a detour. But I can’t recommend it, because you have to buy some time before you start the quest Down on the Street. If you save early, you can do this:
- You have to download the game if you haven’t started the mission yet.
- Meeting with Takemura and his friend
- Don’t follow him to Wakako. All you have to do is ride your bike to Wakoco.
- This is how the error disappears
